Columbia Gorge Beekeepers

Beekeeping in the Heart of the Gorge

Join our community of beekeepers on both sides of the Columbia River

We are a community of beekeepers serving the Columbia River Gorge region on both the Oregon and Washington sides. Whether you're a seasoned apiarist or just getting started, we offer education, mentoring, and community to help you and your bees thrive.

Monthly Meetings

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Hood River Extension Service (2990 Experiment Station Dr, Hood River, OR).

We usually start in the hives — bring your bee jacket if you want to get close! Then we head inside for the presentation and discussion.

Each meeting features presentations on seasonal management, hands-on techniques, guest speakers, and plenty of Q&A. Zoom is available for members who can't attend in person.
